A Parade of RVs

As we continued south along I-95, we were passed by a stream of RVs--most bigger, some much, much bigger. At one rest stop, an RV from Maine parked beside us. They must have just left because they still had a foot of snow on their roof. Of course, it's so cold the snow hadn't melted yet. Last night, we pulled into a rest stop where several large trucks were parked for the night as well as some RVs. Most were large and had their curtains pulled and generators running. It seemed strange to me but they looked snug. The rest stop was open all night with handy restrooms and vending machines. Never know when the urge for Cheez-Its might strike.

Tonight we've stopped at a cheap motel on the highway. It's a little grim but it's only for the night. The traffic is loud and every surface seems chipped and dinged. It looks clean enough but we may go out to van and get our own sheets. We hope to get to northern Florida tomorrow and maybe even camp for the night. Steve needs to replace the propane sensor which keeps beeping and we have yet to get groceries so we're hoping to get in earlier than today. It should be possible as something tells me we'll be up early.
